CNC Milling for Consumer Product Hardware

Consumer product work is mostly about appearance and feel as much as fit. Brands that build hardware (kitchen tools, lifestyle accessories, premium small electronics) come to us for prototype runs and pilot production where the part will be visible in the final product. We mill the part; finishing is handled through trusted Michigan partners.

Why consumer products companies work with Carpatians

01

Cosmetic-grade aluminum work

We understand the difference between a structural bracket and a part the end customer will see. Surfaces are protected through the shop and finishing partners are familiar with consumer-grade cosmetics.

02

Pilot production support

Runs of 100 to 5,000 pieces for product launches and validation are routine. Once a part is dialed in, repeat runs are predictable and fast.

03

Finishing coordinated through partners

Anodizing (clear, black, and color), bead blasting, polishing, and powder coat are handled through trusted Michigan vendors. We coordinate so you have one PO and one contact.

Common Questions

Questions buyers and engineers actually ask.

No, anodizing is handled through trusted Michigan finishing partners. We coordinate scheduling and quality so it appears as a single line item on our quote and a single shipment back to you.
Practically, 50 pieces is where pilot economics start working. We'll quote smaller (even single prototypes), but the per-piece cost on a 10-piece run is roughly the same as a 50.
